NIJC's Asylum Pride Training for Pro Bono Attorneys, June 2024

This Pride Month, the National Immigrant Justice Center, engaged with pro bono attorneys who are interested in representing an asylum case for a member of the LGBTQ+ community in immigration court. NIJC staff presented on the basic legal requirements, tips for working with LGBTQ+ clients, and current practices for winning cases in Chicago. This training is intended for legal practitioners and is a great opportunity to learn strategies from current advocates in the 7th Circuit.
