After fleeing danger in their homelands, artist Camilo and restauranteurs Abdinasir and Habon were grateful to arrive in U.S. communities who welcomed them with compassion, and to find legal counsel through NIJC and our pro bono partners who helped them navigate the complex immigration system. Access to permanent legal status in the United States has allowed them to pursue long-time dreams, make new ones, and give back to their communities.
